Apprentice of the Year Nominee 2014
After I found out that I had been nominated for Apprentice of the Year for 2014, I was overwhelmed, but at the same time did not realise how big of an accolade it was and for me to be part of it.
When I reflect back now I realise that my hard work through staying away from home, undertaking tasks on site that I didn’t feel at ease with and other activities that I had to undertake were appreciated and had paid off, not just through me gaining knowledge but also through recognition within the business.
Through hard work and dedication, this award, to me, shows that I was being recognised and the business has the confidence and self-belief to carry personnel forward on to bigger and better things.
